2025-04-19 WWE has acquired Mexico's AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide, announced just before WrestleMania 41. This marks a major expansion for WWE into the Mexican market. A "Worlds Collide" event featuring talent from both promotions is set for June 7th in Los Angeles. WWE aims to maintain AAA's identity while leveraging its global resources to elevate lucha libre. The Peña family, who founded AAA in 1992, will remain involved. The deal is expected to close in Q3 2025.

2024-10-29 We are currently updating some UI and UX on the website. We are adding alt text to images for accessibility and users with screen readers. Improved the banner in size and title in font size as well. We added a page for interviews with Canadians or Mexican living abroad or with an interesting story to tell. A countdown clock for the American elections has been added to the front page.
